![]() I restarted playing ESO because Guild Wars 2 ALSO joined the epeen bandwagon to not support Mac players period as of February (you can play through Nvidia but that's another story). It isn't about the money, it's the shoddy business practices ACROSS THE BOARD, Steam included. If that information had've been clear on all available ESO purchases here (and also on their official shop) I wouldn't have subscribed to ESO Plus for a month or bought crowns to enable being able to play as a Warden. That is how I found out they were not going to support M1 chip computers. Originally posted by TenderRevolution:ESO doesn't work any longer, I already dealt with their tech help who referred me to the open letter from the Dev spokesperson posted in November 2020. You can as I said before keep your Mac with the last version of Rosetta 2 and macOS for games you want to keep playing when Apple stops supporting Rosetta 2 so nothing will stop working, just as many people did during last transition from PowerPC to Intel. Many Windows games also require 64-bit and will not work on older hardware and OS. Old games won't run on new HW/SW and new games won't run on old HW/SW. Of Course no game will work for eternity. Some developers deciding not to make Mac games is not the same as "All your games will stop working". Many if not all 64-bit games, specially those using Metal, like many Feral games will work even after 2-3 years. ![]() Wrong again! You keep spreading this disinformation in different threads. Your future is the iOS store so you better get used to it. ![]() Devs didn’t want to do any of that even before M1.
